Calling Imagination I & II
The 1st performance took place in Tenna, the Swiss alps (2018), using improvised calling sounds and libation, accompanied by a pre-recorded talk about the context of the Alps Art Academy residency.
The 2nd performance took place at the FLYKTIG / FUGITIVE residency in Valdres, Norway (2023), with an improvised interpretation of the traditional Norwegian herding call “Lokk” intertwined with the ceremonial pouring of cowmilk onto a rock, whilst detailing the multifaceted connotations of ‘mor’ or ‘mother’ within this rural community.
